last week a NASA funded research team discovered an arsenic based life form, although microscopic, this is huge as all other life on earth uses phospherus while this thing uses arsenic, this also has had scientists realise, that while we require water, oxygen, etc. other life could be so different from us that what we consider to be fundamental needs for life, might not even apply to other life forms, and that even mars could have life, we just werent looking for the right stuff.
